After completing my degree in business administration, I packed my backpack to travel through Australia for six months. In the end, I stayed for ten years. I made my home on the beautiful west coast in Perth, where I initially worked as an intern for a consulting company, eventually becoming a junior consultant and then a full-time consultant. I specialised in business process management and later on worked as a freelancer in this field for several years.

So, I am not a trained technical writer by profession, but I have always been passionate about professional writing and visualising information. Because when it comes to process design, precise and clearly structured information is also essential.

While living in Australia, I also travelled to wonderful places around the world and spent valuable time with family and friends in my home country Germany. I returned to Germany in 2015 and now live in my hometown in Thuringia. Since then, I have completed a course at the Technical Academy Esslingen to acquire a certificate in technical writing, have worked as a technical writer in permanent employment and became self-employed in 2021. I still love to travel. My travels and time in between jobs are a constant source of inspiration and personal development.
